Obsidian 

The first in Jennifer L. Armentrout's series Lux. I just have to say this book series is incredibly unique for a young adult romance. I've read romance books from zombie to vampire and the occasional alien but what she brought to the table with these books was way different to me. With aliens I feel like you have more wiggle room than with vampire or werewolf romances because there isn't set rules. And the mystical bodies of light that escaped their home planet isn't something i've heard before (other than The Host). 

      The book itself is written with alot of character and the things Katy thinks of will make you laugh. The story makes you want to read the entire book in one sitting plus Daemon is incredibly dreamy.  Not to mention that Katy is a blogger and reads like an old widowed librarian. 

     All in all the book is amazing and the ending is a good one, It's an amazing read and a quick one.
